A process refined on 30,000 guests

ArtChaos did not start as a franchise concept. It started as one room in Mile End in January 2024, and almost everything about the session changed in the first year: the practice canvas before the final one, a colour rack cut down on purpose, the drying oven, the bar in the same room, the way an Art Master hosts a table. Each change came from watching guests, and each one is now written into how a studio runs.

The operator matters more than the machine

A spin table is simple. What makes a session work is the person in the room: the welcome, the two minutes of instruction, the moment someone who said they were bad at art holds up their canvas. We are looking for partners who want to be in the room, not only on the lease, and we train them on the floor in Montréal before they open.

Company-owned and franchised, side by side

The plan is 15 to 20 ArtChaos locations across Canada, some owned by us and some run by franchise partners, all on the same process and the same standards. ArtChaos is part of the A/Maze group, nine addresses around Montréal, so the back office, the booking system and the group-sales know-how already exist.
