PAINT AND SIP · MILE END

PAINT DRIES
SLOWLY.

Conveniently, there is a bar in the same room.

Drinks and bites at the ArtChaos barBar in the room.

Food + drinks

Before, during, after.

Come early and eat first. Order during the session: your Art Master asks before the hour starts, and it arrives at the table while the paint is still moving. Then stay after, while the canvas dries and everyone compares. Three different evenings, and none of them is the wrong one.

Signature drinks

Mixed like
a painting.

Our signature cocktails were created with Maison Cocktail, Montréal’s cocktail house, to match what happens at the tables.

Each one is named after a way of seeing: Cubism for the Don Cubista, with its mango, coconut and agricole rum stacked like planes; pop art for the Warhol Mule, loud with passion fruit and ginger; and the Cabaret des Baies, berries and citrus in a glass that belongs on a Toulouse-Lautrec poster.

The three without alcohol are the same idea in a different medium, so nobody at the table gets the boring glass.

ART STUDIO, BUT YOU CAN HAVE A DRINK

ArtChaos was designed as a social experience rather than a traditional class, so food and drinks are part of the space. Nobody has to paint continuously for an hour. Take a break. Have a beer or a cocktail. Look at somebody else’s painting. Then decide whether yours really needs that extra orange you have been thinking about.

ORDER BEFORE, DURING, OR INSTEAD

Come early and eat first. Order mid-session and let it arrive while you work. Or turn up with the person who is painting, order something, and never touch a bottle of paint at all. For groups and private events, food and drinks can be built into the event.

Very fun experience. The kids had a great time. The fries and drinks were really good. I highly recommend the don cubista.

Really fun experience - and strong drinks they make while you wait for the art to dry

Good questions

Before you book.

The things people ask us most, answered quickly.

Is this a paint and sip?

Yes, our way: a one-hour spin art session with an Art Master at the table, and a full bar in the same room. Order before the hour starts or while the canvas dries. From $39 a person, drinks extra.

Do I need to eat in order to drink?

No. Order a drink on its own, a snack on its own, or both.

Can we eat before and after the session?

Yes. Come early and eat first, or stay after while the canvas dries. The bar is open the whole time the studio is.

Can I bring my own food or drinks?

No, except a celebration cake arranged in advance for a private event.

Is alcohol served to everyone?

Only to guests of legal drinking age. The no-alcohol list is as long as the cocktail list.

How long does an experience take?

A regular session runs 60 minutes. Larger private group events can run for two to three hours.

Does the artwork need to dry?

Yes, and we do it here. The finished canvas goes into the drying oven for fifteen to twenty minutes, and you take it home the same day.
