WHAT WE COLLECT
AND WHY.
Written in plain language. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll answer.
This describes what this website actually does. It was not written by a lawyer: have it reviewed before relying on it for your legal obligations.
What we collect
The enquiry form collects your name, your email address and — if you provide them — your phone number, event type, preferred date, group size and message. We collect nothing else through that form.
Why we collect it
Only to answer your enquiry and organise your visit or event. We do not sell your information and we do not add you to a mailing list without your agreement.
Bookings and payments
Bookings and gift cards are handled by Off The Couch, our booking system, in a window embedded in this site. Anything you enter there, including payment details, is collected by that provider under its own policy — ArtChaos never sees or stores your card details.
Campaign cookies
If you arrive from an advert, we keep the campaign label (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) in a first-party cookie for 30 days, so we can tell which advert led to a booking. The cookie holds nothing that identifies you and is shared with nobody beyond our booking system.
Site statistics and advertising
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful, and the Meta Pixel to tell which of our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to a visit, an enquiry or a booking. Both set cookies and send technical data about your browser (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) to Google and to Meta under their own policies; we never use either to identify you. When an enquiry is sent, Meta is told only that an enquiry happened, never what it said. There is no consent banner on this site: if you would rather not be measured, your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker keeps both tags silent and the site works exactly the same.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are emailed to ArtChaos and also recorded in a Google Sheet that only the ArtChaos team can open, for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep our event records. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for access to the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action the request.
