Spin Art Classic · Mile End

Spin it.
Make it yours.

Paint goes onto a canvas turning on a motorised table. You change the speed, the colour and the moment, and the spin pulls it into rings and bursts no brush could make.

Book Spin Art Classic.

Spin Art Classic is booked as SPLASH & DASH in the window below: 60 min, 1–4 per station.

Spin Art Classic

What you make

One canvas that is only yours. Squeeze, pour or drip from the colour rack onto the turning canvas, then speed it up or slow it down to stretch the paint. A practice canvas comes first, so the final one is made with a steady hand.

How it goes

Three steps.
One hour.

01

Pick your colours

Apron on, then choose from the standard rack. Three colours or ten: your call.

02

Practice, then spin

Try the tools on the practice canvas, then make the final one with what you learned.

03

Reveal it

The table stops and the colour settles. It dries while you have a drink, and then it goes home with you.

Spin Art Classic

Who it suits

First-timers, families, dates and friends. There is nothing to draw and nothing to get right, and an Art Master shows you the machine before you start. Children are welcome, at child pricing.

I had never painted anything before and this was an amazing experience and lots of fun. I definitely recommend it.

First time doing spin art. The instructor is very helpful, and goes through the whole process with you before you even start. Drinks and snacks are great. Definitely a must for anyone visiting Montreal.

Good questions

Before you book.

The things people ask us most, answered quickly.

What is Spin Art?

Spin Art uses a motorized platform that rotates a canvas. You apply paint while changing the speed and position, creating circular movement, layers and patterns that are difficult to reproduce twice.

Do I need art experience?

No. There is no drawing requirement and no traditional painting class. The team explains the equipment and technique, then you choose the colours and make the piece your own.

Does the artwork need to dry?

Yes, and we do it here. The finished canvas goes into the drying oven for fifteen to twenty minutes, and you take it home the same day.

Can children participate?

Yes. ArtChaos is popular with families and children. Published child pricing applies to ages 5–13, and children under 4 are free. Adults should supervise young children.

What should I wear?

Protective equipment is provided, but paint is part of the experience. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes you would not mind bringing into a creative studio.

How long does an experience take?

A regular session runs 60 minutes. Larger private group events can run for two to three hours.
